James was educated at the University of Kent, Universit√† di Bologna, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and Sophia Law School, Tokyo. He graduated in Law in 2005 and was subsequently awarded the prestigious Japanese Ministry of Education’s MEXT Scholarship by the Embassy of Japan in London in order to pursue for postgraduate studies. During 3 years in Japan, he completed a thorough research of the reformation of Japan’s intellectual property law system. As an undergraduate, he also completed courses in International Bankruptcy and International Arbitration held by Loyola Law School Los Angeles. James is fluent in English, Italian and Japanese.¬†
